O Sapientia

Today marks the beginning of the O’ Antiphons to mark the end of Advent.  It is during this time that each day we chant or reflect on one of the seven Messianic Titles given to Jesus.  If you’d like to learn a bit more on what exactly they are and approximately how old they are check out this link. Over the next several days I will be busy with finishing up the last minute Christmas preparations as well as spending time with my children and Mother-In-Law I won’t be able to post much, but I will be bringing you the O’ Antiphons.   Have a blessed last few days of Advent and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!!

O Sapientia (December 17)

O Sapientia

O Wisdom (Eccl 24:5), you came forth from the mouth of the Most High (Sir 24:30), and reaching from beginning to end, you ordered all things mightily and sweetly (Wis 8:1). Come, and teach us the way of prudence (Isa 40:14).
